This artwork was selected as one of the Best Works in the CG Art Gallery category at ASIAGRAPH 2023.
It features a character named Mansu, depicted in the moment of fleeing after assassinating the fallen king. Surrounding him are the royal guards, charging in to stop his escape.

This illustration depicts a historical battle between the Mongol Empire and the Goryeo Dynasty, which took place in what is now Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi Province during the Goryeo period.
This is not a fantasy piece, but rather a visual representation of an actual historical event.
It is known for the Buddhist monk Kim Yun-hu, who took on the role of a general and killed the Mongol commander Saritai during the battle.
Historical accounts suggest that the Goryeo forces, despite being in a highly disadvantageous situation, managed to kill Saritai with a surprise arrow attack.

김윤후라는 승려가 장군이 되어 몽골군의 살리타 장군을 죽인 전투로 유명 합니다.
고려군이 굉장히 불리한 상황에서 기습으로 활을 쏘아 죽였다는 설이 유력합니다.
근경, 중경, 원경에 따른 인물들의 표현이 어떻게 변화되고 있는지 관찰 해보시면 좋을것 같습니다.

This piece is a fictional depiction of Mongol general Subutai invading the Ottoman royal palace—a purely imaginative scenario.
One of the fallen soldiers even has four arms, emphasizing the fantasy element.
Historically, the Mongol Empire and the Ottoman Empire did not coexist in the same time period,
but I simply wanted to include Subutai, a general I personally admire.
This scene incorporates a variety of textures: the specular reflections on the curved surface of the table,
the diffuse reflection of the carpet, the skin of the horse, and the silk clothing of the queen.
I encourage you to closely observe how these different materials are expressed in the full-resolution image.

몽골군 수부타이가 오스만제국을 침공하고 왕실로 침략한 허구의 이야기를 그린것입니다. 게다가 쓰러져 있는 병사는 팔이 네개입니다.
몽골군과 오스만제국의 공존은 시기상으로 맞지않으며, 개인적으로 좋아하는 수부타이 장군을 그냥 한번 등장 시켜보고 싶었습니다.
